We had a great weekend. The weather was beautiful here, so we took advantage and spent most of our time outdoors. On Saturday we went to Germanfest which benefits a local Catholic church. As you can see by the pictures, Jacob had a "girlfriend" with him this weekend.
Some friends of ours attended a Catholic Engaged Encounter convention out of state, so we took care of their sweet baby girl. To prepare Jacob for the weekend, I made a big deal of us taking care of a baby girl. I told him that I would really need his help. He took me seriuosly (as you can see in the pictures below). He was a little sad on Friday night when I read "our" story to both he and the "baby girl". I explained to him that I was his mommy only and that he was my only Jacob. He wasn't sad again.
When I picked him up from school today, he told me he really missed the "baby girl". I asked if he wanted a baby sister and he said NO!!! :)
