Abby will be entering the most difficult part of her treatment for the high-risk form of Lukemia she was diagnosed with back in July. Certain genetic complications have put her chance of surviving the treatment at about 20%.
If you don't know about Abby, please read about her condition and her family here:

It is very difficult to know that a family is going through this, especially since Abby is from Guatemala and just a year older than Jacob. I wonder if we would handle such a situation with the grace and faith that Brent and Michelle have. I, personally, have received many blessings and witnessed many moved to prayer for Abby. Make sure you read Brent's most recent post in which he answers the question, "Does it matter if more people pray for Abby?".(http://www.riggsfamilyblog.com/2009/01/does-it-matter-if-more-people-pray-for.html)
Thank you for your prayers and may Our Heavenly Father continue to bless the Riggs family and all of His children here on Earth.
